Pre-School

Age 3 and 4 (not entering kindergarten in the following fall)

Learning through play and teacher led small group activities is how their day is organized. This is accomplished by controlling the environment the child is playing in. By working on their independence, self-help skills, language skills and organizational skills. It is here they will begin playing with others, pretend play becomes more sophisticated, friendships will form, and organized learning begins through small group interaction. All this would foster Social, Emotional, physical and language development.

  • Activities would include art, reading and listening centers, discovery centers, blocks, dress up, cooking, outdoor play and much more.
  • Small group activities would include Literacy & Language skills, simple math skills like sorting, alphabet bingo, art, coloring and tracing, cutting and pasting, computers, science experiments, and language skills
