Infants

Ages 6 weeks to 18 months,

Our nursery has been developed with the idea of consistency for a child. By offering “consistency of care”, research shows that infants do better due to less stress and increased sense of security. Infants will stay in the same nursery from 6 weeks to 18 months. We have developed our nursery to follow the parent’s instructions. Parents provides us with the schedule at the time of registration and through communication, we adjust the schedule as the child grows.

• Our staff always holds an infant while feeding until the infant gets to the age of independence and wants to hold the bottle themselves.
• Teachers provide language development through songs and reading, we listen to all types of music, fine motor skills (feeding themselves) and large motor skills (Crawling)
• All infants are placed on their backs to sleep. In their own crib.
• Children are changed every 2 hours or whenever they are soiled. All diapering needs are met as needed.
